Infinity Love(canvas)
I liked how this project turned out. It has a lot of meaning also. I thought it was a nice project. I think overall this project turned out good and received a good grade. The only thing that didn't work about this project again was the ink and the fact that i cannot write straight so the writing was a little crooked. Everything else about this project worked out quite well, the colour was nice and the infinity symbol looked pretty cool. If I were to redo this project I would have used a ruler so I could actually make the letters straight. The most difficult part about this project was using ink, i really struggle while using ink. The one thing that I learned from this project was to take my time and not to rush, especially while using ink because ink is sooo hard to use because it smears as soon as you touch it.
"Bright Sky, Stars Lit High" (canvas)
This canvas actually has a meaning that no one will really understand, its simply just for me to know. I liked the way that this turned out, I thought it was pretty interesting! I did well on this project I think, the colours mixed well together. I think everything worked with this project, nothing got smeared, it was clear and you could read it. If I were to redo this project I would have added some pink to the background so it would really pop. The most difficult part about this project was making sure I didn't smear the writing like I seem to do in all of the rest of my projects I do with ink. One thing I can learn from this project is to always believe in that quote by myself and live up to it.

Mother's Day Canvas(no picture)
Ah yes, the mothers day canvas. This canvas was not the first attempt, but the second. The first one that I had completed was wrecked by the ink smearing. I didn't really like how this one turned out but I didn't have enough time to redo it for a third time, so I left it the way it was. It think my score would have been a little better if I wouldn't have smeared the writing on the last one I did. The thing that worked about this project was the back ground colour, which was blue with little streaks of white. The thing that didn't work about this project was the fact that i smeared the writing. If I were to redo this project I would make the background colour light orange again because it looked way better. The most difficult part about this project was the ink writing, it was so hard not to mess up ( which I did end up doing in the end) From this project I learned that ink may not be my thing, but I know that it takes practice.
The Fault In Our Stars( small canvas, no picture)
Like stated in my other project, I loved the inspiration this series has given me. I liked the way this project turned out way better then my first The Fault In Our Stars project. I felt like this project was more successful then the one before because it was smaller and easier to work with and I didn't mess it up. One thing that worked about this project was that I used ink for the first time and didn't mess it up! That made me pretty happy. If I could redo this project I would have made it with different colours, blue and black to resemble the book cover. The only part that was hard about this project was the fact that the ink and the pastel chalks don't mix well together so it was a little hard to read. The thing that I learned from this project is that using a lighter colour, such as blue, could have made the project look a little better.
The Fault In Our Stars( large canvas, no picture)
My idea of this project came to mind when I first heard about the book and movie The Fault In Our Stars. This amazing series inspired me to make two projects, one in which I will talk about in my next post. Although this series was amazing my project I made for it wasn't nearly as good, but it turned out OK. I believe that this project was quite successful because it showed the darkness of the movie while also capturing a few of those amazing quotes and sayings from the movie. The only thing about this project that I didn't like was using the ink because it smeared a lot and it was sort of hard to read because the canvas itself was pretty dark. If I were to redo this project I would have done it in blue and black, much like the cover of the book because the yellow and black didn't really match. The hardest part about this project was the ink writing, ink is very hard to work with because it smears and its very hard to fix it once you smear it. One thing that I learned from this piece was to take my time, especially while using ink.

Clay Projects( no pictures)
The clay project was my very favourite project of the year. I have made several clay projects this year, and so far all of them have turned out great. I think this year I have made better clay projects then in past years. All of the projects turned out great and they all seemed easy to make it I had a fun time when working with clay. If i were to redo this project I could have made my projects smoother looking. The most difficult part about this project was trying to find things to make that the people in my family would like. Although, these projects weren't done until after Christmas, it still meant alot to me to make them for the people that I love.

Where Did the Earth Go?
I really liked this project. This project has a dark side to it, which was interesting because it wasnt originally supposed to. I feel like this was one of my better projects because its so different from some of the others that I've done. This whole project turned out good, and I didn't really come across any mistakes. If I were to redo this project I would add some of the other planets to it and make the background darker so it still had that dark look. The most difficult part about this project was that I did the whole thing in chalk so the colours smeared a little. The one thing that I learned from this project was that you can turn something scary into something artistic.
Union Jack
I'll be honest, I love this project. This project means alot to me because its one of my favoutite countries flags. I feel like I did a pretty good on this project because it was something that I took my time on, and I'm the only one who would draw a flag like this in my hour. This project was very easy and everything about it looked right when it was completed. If I were to redo this project I would make the flag more even and try to cover up some of the paint brush lines. The most difficult part about this project was trying to not mix the colours, because it would have messed up the painting. The one thing that I learned about this project was that I have a love for countries and expressing that through art makes it even more awesome.

Rope
Well, I'll start off by saying...this project wasn't my best. This project was not one of my most successful projects, but I'll admit, it wasn't easy drawing rope. Honestly, nothing really worked about this project because I have no idea how to draw rope. If I were to redo this project, I would redo the whole thing and start over... because maybe that time it will look more like rope. This project was difficult all together, and I didn't really learn anything...as you can see, I should have taken my time.
Crazy Colours
I really liked this project because it was different from anything I've ever drawn, or for this example, painted. I feel like this was one of my better projects that I've done. One reason being because it was something I really enjoyed making, other than having to draw something that everyone has to draw to. This project turned out pretty good, and everything seemed to look right when I was done making it. The only thing about this project that didn't work out to well was trying to find water colours that weren't so alike so the picture didn't have repeating colours. If I were to redo this project the only thing that I would change would be that I would have used pastel chalks instead, so it would have been more colourful. Overall, there were no big mistakes that I found while making this project and I learned that if the project is something that I get to choose, it turns out a little better.
